Heroes' end

.

The psyche of the hero it's built in a cumulum of yearnings that we all -ordinary citizens- put in him.

Objectively, he's an anomaly cast in the plaster of everything that we can't be.
His deepest psychology begins in the myths of the sky, in our darkest and most irrational desires of vengeance and illegal sex.
Note that the most abominable orgies of vendetta and the power to fornicate with 4000 women the same night are property of Herakles: the man-god who is an animal.

Actually, the hero is you and me, but perfected.
Because in the hero, the bestialism reaches its most luminous heights, as in the pagan gods.

...But the only villain here always was the life...except if we can live in peace with our inner animal, innocently malicious...

That's the heroes' end.

...Half a milimetre from the perversion, 3 steps beyond the law...
